Studying/Time Management Tips for Spring Break

Spring break is a great time to relax and disconnect for a little while. However, if you’re a college student, the work never seems to end. Here are a few ways to manage your time and get some studying in before hitting the beach!

1.) Stay organized. DON’T save that 10 page paper until the night before it’s due. If you procrastinate, this will create unnecessary stress and may result in a less than satisfactory grade. It will also put a damper on your plans! Invest in a planner to stay organized and start early!

2.) If you will not have internet access, download files to study while, “offline”. If necessary, take physical copies of notes or readings as backup.

3.) If you are preparing for exams during Spring Break, make flash cards. Flash cards are easy to transport and can be decorated, making studying a little less drab.

If absolutely possible, try to complete assignments BEFORE break. This would allow you to completely enjoy yourself and forget about school for awhile. If this isn’t possible, try utilizing these tips for a stress-free break!
